Read what a company actually files, resolve the instrument before anything else, and keep every figure attached to the document it came from.

The question a desk answers well here is narrow and answerable: what did this company file, over which periods, and what do the numbers say once they are put side by side. The question it refuses is the one that sounds similar — whether the share is worth buying.

#What the desk does

  1. Resolve the company into a listed instrument first. The tool returns candidates, never a verdict: an ordinary share, a preference share and a depositary receipt are not the same investment, and the choice is left to you.
  2. Read the filings where the company actually files — the US regulator for a domestic or New York listing, the European mechanisms for a European one. Called without a concept, the tool returns what that issuer actually tags, which is where a reading starts.
  3. Pull the price series and the option chain when the question needs them, each with the provenance it returns.
  4. Open a chart module so you see the same data the mandate reasoned over.
  5. Compose the dossier: facts with their sources, assumptions with their rationale, computations in the bounded language.

#Which mandates are involved

The fundamental mandate holds filings, market data and instrument resolution — and no web access, so it cannot substitute a commentary for a filing. The accounting mandate owns the workbook. The risk mandate can veto an adoption. The host routes; it never runs the analysis.
